Names for different types of Actual Play
Over on substack, Cas Saxe proposes some terms for the... what I would call different types of Actual Play. I'm adopting and slightly rearranging these terms.
To me, Actual Play works fine as an umbrella term for all of the podcasts/shows currently known by that moniker. Underneath the umbrella are:
Unedited Actual Play (self-explanatory)
Edited Actual Play
Enhanced Actual Play (with foley effects and/or a music track)
Professional Play (AP performed by professional actors)
